A few years ago, Avantha and I (Santho) sat the PTE Academic exam. We both came out with perfect scores.
We weren’t running a business at that point. We were just two people who had figured out how the exam worked – what the PTE scoring engine was actually looking for, where most students went wrong, and how to close the gap between where someone was and where they needed to be.
Then we noticed that our friends were struggling.
Not because they weren’t capable. Not because their English wasn’t good enough. But because PTE Academic is a specific exam with specific rules, and most people were studying for a generic English test that didn’t exist. They were doing the wrong kind of practice, getting stuck at the same score, and running out of attempts.
